One is grateful, another glum

Contrasting life events make these 'story worth' ... Two trending stories this week couldn't have provided more contrast into the human personality:

1) The Detroit laborer whose hard-luck story went viral and
2) Once-iconic NBC anchor Brian Williams fall from grace

The former is now reaping the generosity of living an honest, frugal life and humbly expects to be able to put his recent misfortunes behind.  The latter is waiting for the other shoe to drop in answer to his alleged personal story-telling that failed a basic journalist truth-telling test.  Williams, 55, career is in jeopardy while possibly facing forced-retirement and Detroit's James Robertson, 56, suddenly has a brand new Ford Taurus and over $300K in donations to better prepare for his approaching retirement years.
