2-Part Toolkit for Leadership

▶ NOTABLE (and quotable) Daniel Truett Cathy, is an American businessman, the chairman, president and CEO of fast-food chain Chick-fil-A. The chain was founded by his father, the late S. Truett Cathy. Cathy was born in Jonesboro, Georgia. He began doing radio commercials for his father's original Dwarf House restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia in the early 1960s. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University in 1975, then began working for his father's company.
According to this SOURCEChick-fil-A is a privately owned and family-operated fast-serve restaurant specializing in chicken-based dishes. With a goal to “Be America’s Best Quick-Service Restaurant,” Chick-fil-A has steadily grown its brand, expanding from the American South, its base, to a nationwide chain with more than 1,500 locations in 39 states and annual sales of $3.9 billion. Chick-fil-A restaurants offer a large menu, something for everyone in the family, such as classic chicken sandwiches, salads and wraps, sides, desserts and breakfast selections. With its emphasis on family, and its early reputation for outspoken Christian values, Chick-fil-A has attracted broad American appeal.

The #ALTACITIES archived VIDEO clip (above), an important '#SocialCurrentSee' lecture courtesy of YouTube, was stumbled upon while researching the topic of leadership.  The CEO of Chick-Fil-A is a notable for such insight on this topic, perhaps having a perspective that is similar to many others, but different than most.  As the research continued in social media sites like Twitter, we caught a bit of dissonance and discontent from some, but Cathy, as we know. is no stranger to naysayers.
