Re: What is the average price of a home in California? ▶Bingo, bango, bongo or just BING!▶ Re: California Earthquake Authority ▶Bingo, bango, bongo or just BING!▶ The links between these two search topics (above) may not be readily apparent, but the question arises since it is true that the "authority" has $12 billion in capacity to cover claims for the Big One (an earthquake), but the question remains: How many dwellings might that represent?  The $12 billion claims coverage capacity is authentic because the source is the CEA, aka "authority" (see LINK below).

The first search link above explains that the average home price in California is $379,000, which is 7.6% lower than the average sold price in California ($410,000). If you calculate that the actual replacement cost for an existing dwelling is about 80% of market value (in normal situations), then the average replacement cost for a typical California home would be $…

TWITTER moments (like the one below) and social media content today archive the periodic updates about my cancer recovery from mantle cell lymphoma (MCL)▶  Within these links and the #SocialCurrentSee on topic, I often share specifics and sometimes trivial matters about my continued remission from the disease▶ As of this posting, my condition is basically unchanged: Remain in complete remission for MCL (DX April 2006 and also SCT in Aug 2007 with a minor relapse in late 2009 that was treated with tomotherapy, all at City of Hope, Duarte, with Dr. Ryotaro Nakamura as my primary oncologist▶ Have had ONLY frequent IVIGs for maintenance since the SCT and the frequency of these has become more rapid as I have had a long siege of respiratory distress this fall and winter▶ Not sure why this condition persists except caused (in part) by diminished immune conditions that may be linked to several rounds of Rituximab during the later stages of my treatment▶
